Tom Blog: ChildLine Rocks

Easy folks
Sorry it's been a while since I last sent out a blog but after the barrage of blogs that I was sending out for a while there, I thought it best to give you some peace (for a little while at least!).
So what have we been up to?? Well, since the last album campaign wound down, we have gone back to being relatively normal people again for the first time in 5 years! Which in mine and Liam's case means buying houses and getting well stuck in with DIY and domesticity and in Andy's case, buying a tea and cake shop called Time for Tea in Kenilworth. (I shit you not)
The Enemy are taking some time off for a few months but that doesn't mean that I'm not writing songs! I have been writing and demoing and I can promise that I've got some right belters for you! We aren't planning to to play any gigs until much later in the year with the notable exception of a very special show that we are doing with and for Child Line. We will be joined by our friends Reverend and The Makers and Carl Barat (Libertines) plus more to be announced and it should be blinding! The show is in London at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on April 1st (no joke). Tickets went on sale Monday and have almost sold out so if you want to catch us for the last time in a little while you better get you skates on! You can get tickets here. Child line is a really fantastic charity that do some outstanding work for children all over the UK. Revered an The Makers, Carl and ourselves are happy to dedicate our time gratis for this wonderful cause - we only hope that you will come along and make it really special for us whilst raising some much needed dosh!
Right, I'm off to prepare for a darts tournament next week! Rock n Roll
